Early voting has begun!
You don’t have to wait until election day to vote. Attached are flyers showing early voting locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Regarding NYSUT Endorsements
I have fielded a few questions over the past week or two about NYSUT endorsements. When making endorsements NYSUT follows one guiding principle for both Republicans and Democrats. That principle is, “Are they good for education in New York State?”

- Suspending APPR
- 7.2% increase in school aid
- Labor walk supporting Laura Gillen, Saturday, October 22
- Labot walk supporting Laura Gillen & John Brooks, Tuesday, November 1
- In addition to these labor walks, there is a meet & greet with State Senator John Brooks, who is running for re-election on Tuesday, October 25.
