Hello colleagues. Thank you for considering me for your building representative. I would like to start off by thanking each and every one of you for everything you have done (both large and small) throughout this unbelievably challenging year to support our students and give them the best experience they could have. You all really went above and beyond with your support and compassion for each other, flexibility and understanding. These are just some of the reasons why I would be honored to work for you. After being at Seaford for 15 years (in multiple buildings too), I feel like it is time for me to give back to you and support you all with my ability to listen to you, problem solve, communicate clearly and often, and to speak up and have the difficult conversations when necessary. I consider myself an open, honest, approachable, respectful person who works hard, gives 100% and enjoys helping others. Let me be your voice. Let me take care of you. Let’s work together. Unite with me and vote for me for your building representative. Thank you.

Good Afternoon Seaford Middle School Colleagues.
I began my career in the state of Massachusetts in September of 1997 in a middle school 8th grade US History Classroom.
I joined the Seaford Social Studies Department in September of 1999. After a couple of years at Seaford High School I came to our building in 2001. Like so many of you I have worked under countless assistant principals, principals, central administrators and directors. Throughout all these years I continue to realize that what we do, everyday, inside our classrooms, our offices and in the hallways makes a school what it is. We are the absolute core of a school. We provide the children with a professional experience at a pivotal moment in their path to maturity.
I've been coaching in town for over 20 years. I have been in almost everyone's classroom assisting in technology. I have seen dozens and dozens of wonderful teachers come and go over the years. The amount of experience I have gained from my colleagues is immeasurable. I am ready to pass on as much as I can in whatever way that I can.
As your building rep for the 2021-22 school year I hope to continue to offer you anything that may be needed. I have no reason to lie to you. Come to me with anything you have on your mind. If I do not know offhand the answer to your questions I promise to seek out the answers.
Good luck with your final few weeks. This is the best job in the world!
Don't forget to vote!
